The 340B Drug Pricing Program is designed to help clinics “stretch scarce federal resources as far as possible, reach more eligible patients, and provide more comprehensive services.” Despite being around since 1992, the 340B Drug Pricing Program remains one of the most misunderstood federal programs.

In this August 2023 webinar, Mindy McGrath of the National Family Planning & Reproductive Health Association (NFPRHA) clarified some of the common misconceptions of the program by covering the most frequently asked questions about the use of 340B in Title X service sites.

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe the registration and recertification process for eligible entities
  • Describe patients who do or do not qualify for 340B supplies at a Title X service site
  • Explain the criteria for 340B supplies to be used for a patient with self-pay, Medicaid, Medicaid managed care, or private insurance
  • List at least three best practices for 340B compliance in a Title X setting

Time: 1 hour

Certificate of Completion: Yes available after completing the evaluation at the end of the recording
