This eLearning course provides practical, evidence-informed strategies for using a cultural humility approach to providing family planning services, as well as for meeting Title X expectations for culturally competent care that respects the dignity of individuals. The RHNTC developed this highly interactive eLearning course in partnership with Diversity Science

Learning Objectives: 

  • Describe the Title X program requirement to provide services in a manner that is client-centered, culturally and linguistically appropriate, and inclusive.
  • Describe the potential impact of cultural humility on delivery of services and client health outcomes.
  • Implement evidence-based strategies to provide culturally responsive/appropriate care to all clients.

Note: As of February 2024, this course and the Reducing the Impact of Unconscious Bias in Family Planning Care eLearning together replace the previous Cultural Competency in Family Planning Care eLearning.
