This eLearning course provides an overview of pregnancy testing and counseling services, as described in Providing Quality Family Planning Services: Recommendations of CDC and OPA (QFP).

Learning Objectives

  • Describe the primary pregnancy testing and counseling services recommended as part of core family planning services.
  • Identify key elements of quality pregnancy testing.
  • Identify key elements of a quality pregnancy counseling encounter.
  • Discuss the options available for pregnant women.

Time: 1 hour, 30 minutes

Continuing Education: 2 contact hours

There is no fee for a Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) certificate upon successful completion of this activity.

Successful completion of this CNE activity includes the following:
