Counseling Adolescents on Delaying Sexual Activity in Family Planning Settings

Positive Youth Development

Join the FPNTC on December 4th from 2-3pm ET for a webinar on successful strategies and resources for counseling adolescents to avoid sexual risk by delaying sexual activity. Webinar participants will learn how to support adolescents to analyze sexual risk, make healthy choices, and express intimacy and affection without engaging in sexual intercourse. Enabling adolescents to be informed, educated, skilled, and healthy will empower them to make sound sexual and reproductive decisions. The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services, a Title X grantee, will share tools and resources they have developed for counseling adolescents on delaying sexual activity in family planning settings. The intended audience is for clinicians, counseling staff and health educators at Title X service site agencies.
